Anthony P. Picadio
Mr. Picadio received his J.D. degree in 1970 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law where he was elected Editor-in-Chief of the University of Pittsburgh Law Review and a member of The Order of the Coif. His entire professional career has been devoted to civil litigation and environmental law. He has a triple listing in the 2008-09 edition of The Best Lawyers in America in the fields of Business Litigation, Environmental Law and Personal Injury Litigation. He has been designated as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer every year since the designation was first initiated in the field of Business Litigation by Law & Politics Magazine. Mr. Picadio has represented clients in a wide variety of matters including cases involving corporate governance, contract disputes, copyright and trademark infringement, insurance coverage and bad faith, financial and securities fraud, professional negligence, litigation involving real estate, products liability and construction claims. He is Peer Review Rated AV by Martindale Hubbell.
Henry M. Sneath
Mr. Sneath received his J.D. degree in 1983 from Duquesne University School of Law. During his last two years of law school, he served as a law clerk to the Chief Justice of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He has been designated by his peers as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer in the field of Business Litigation and is a member of the prestigious Academy Of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County. He is a National Member of the Board of Directors of the Defense Research Institute (DRI), and is the former Chair of its Commercial Litigation Committee and Intellectual Property Subcommittee. He is Regional Editor of the DRI national publication "The Business Suit" and is a frequent lecturer and course planner for seminars on a wide range of business litigation, intellectual property and litigation topics. He edits the Pennsylvania Bar Association's (PBA) Civil Litigation Section newsletter magazine and is the Treasurer of the PBA Intellectual Property Law Section. He is Peer Review Rated AV by Martindale Hubbell and is listed in Best Lawyers in America.
Mr. Sneath has extensive federal and state court trial experience in cases involving commercial disputes, intellectual property matters, construction claims, professional negligence lawsuits, products liability litigation, insurance coverage and insurance bad faith claims. He is currently representing clients in trademark and copyright matters and in patent litigation matters pursuant to the new Local Patent Rules promulgated in 2005 by the Judges of the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. These new rules are designed to make the Pennsylvania Western District a forum of choice for patent infringement and invalidation actions. He is also prepared to assist out-of-state law firms and their clients with the intricacies of these new Local Patent Rules which provide a procedural mechanism for accelerated case disposition, and numerous changes to the processes of Federal Rule 26 disclosure, claim construction, use of experts and infringement and invalidation contention disclosure. He has tried over 90 cases to jury and non-jury verdict in Federal and State Court jurisdictions and has helped clients resolve disputes through a variety of Alternative Dispute Resolution Procedures. Mr. Sneath has also devoted Pro Bono time to the representation of battered women in Protection from Abuse hearings and trials and is active in his Church and community.

Alan S. Miller
Mr. Miller received his J.D. degree in 1982 from The National Law Center, George Washington University, where he graduated with honors. He is a former trial attorney for the United States Department of Justice, Lands and Natural Resource Division, where he conducted litigation on behalf of the United States Environmental Protection Agency. He has been with the firm, or its predecessors, since 1987, where his practice has been concentrated in the areas of environmental law, insurance coverage and bad faith, products liability, professional errors and omissions and commercial litigation. He is listed in the 2005-06, 2006-07 and 2007-08 editions of The Best Lawyers in America in the field of Environmental Law. He also has been designated a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer and one of Pittsburgh's top 50 lawyers for 2005-2007 by Law & Politics Magazine. Bridget M. Gillespie
Ms. Gillespie received her J.D. degree, cum laude, in 1993 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she was a Managing Editor of the Law Review. She is co-author of Norton on Insurance Coverage in Pennsylvania, Second Edition, published by PBI Press. Her practice is concentrated in representation of insurance carriers in insurance coverage and bad faith matters and representation of clients in commercial and tort litigation. She is licensed in Pennsylvania and is admitted to practice in all Pennsylvania state courts, the District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. She is a former Captain in the Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps and served as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Northern District of New York.
Jeffrey J. Ludwikowski
Mr. Ludwikowski graduated from the University of Southern California in 1983 and received his J.D. degree, cum laude, in 1987 from Southwestern University School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Ludwikowski served as Managing Editor of the Law Review and was nationally recognized for his oral advocacy skills. Mr. Ludwikowski is a frequent lecturer and course planner for seminars on a wide range of commercial litigation, professional responsibility and trial technique topics. He is Peer Review Rated AV by Martindale Hubbell.
Mr. Ludwikowski has federal and state court trial experience in various subject matters, including cases involving commercial disputes, construction claims, bankruptcy, RICO, environmental issues, products liability defense and insurance coverage. He is admitted to practice before the State Courts in both Pennsylvania and California (inactive) as well as to the United States District Courts for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the Central District of California, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. Additionally, he has often assisted clients in disputes through both mediation and arbitration procedures. Mr. Ludwikowski also serves as co-executive director and pro bono General Counsel of the Catholic Men's Fellowship of Pittsburgh, is past Chairperson of the Pittsburgh Chapter, American Association of the Order of Malta, and remains active in both his Church and community.
Jeffrey B. Cadle, Associate
Mr. Cadle focuses his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, civil litigation and insurance coverage. Prior to joining Picadio, Sneath, Miller & Norton P.C., Mr. Cadle was an associate at a small general practice law firm in Pittsburgh, concentrating in civil litigation and business transactional matters. Mr. Cadle graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 2000 and obtained his J.D. degree in 2005 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Cadle assisted in the successful challenge to a National Coverage Determination (NCD) issued by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, resulting in an amended policy regarding the coverage
of pancreas-only transplants for a specific class of diabetic patient.
Stephen S. Photopoulos, Associate
Mr. Photopoulos focuses his practice in the areas of business litigation and insurance coverage litigation in both state and federal courts. Prior to joining Picadio, Sneath, Miller & Norton P.C., Mr. Photopoulos was an associate at a mid-size Pittsburgh law firm and, while in law school, was employed as a senior consultant at a Big-4 accounting firm.
Kelly A. Williams, Associate
Ms. Williams is a litigator with ten years of experience in commercial and personal injury defense litigation. Ms. Williams graduated from The Ohio State University in 1991 and obtained her juris doctorate degree from Temple University School of Law in Philadelphia in 1994. Ms. Williams has practiced law in both Philadelphia, PA and Pittsburgh, PA where she has represented businesses and individuals in matters involving product liability, breach of contract, employment discrimination, construction disputes, trademark infringement, insurance coverage and bad faith, and professional liability. She also has jury and non-jury trial experience in state and federal courts.
Elaine J. Wizzard, Associate
Ms. Wizzard focuses her practice in the areas of Intellectual Property, Environmental Law and Insurance Coverage. She is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She also has experience in bankruptcy litigation, creditor/debtor rights and general litigation. She graduated from Washington and Jefferson College in 2001 and received her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Law in 2004. While in law school, she concentrated her coursework in the Advanced Intellectual Property & Technology Certificate Program and worked for two semesters at the Environmental Law Clinic.
Ronald M. Del Duca, Jr., Of Counsel
Mr. Del Duca received his J.D. degree in 1983 from Duquesne University School of Law and his LL.M. in Taxation from William & Mary Law School in 1984. Mr. Del Duca specializes in matters relating to personal and business taxation, including business transactions, representation before tax authorities, estate planning and international tax issues. Mr. Del Duca's international practice includes tax treaty analysis and business transaction planning for countries such as Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Spain, France, Romania, the Czech Republic and Russia.
Mr. Del Duca is also involved in representation of professional athletes, including the negotiation of player contracts for individual athletes and implementation of tax planning strategies.During his over twenty five years of practicing sports law, Mr. Del Duca has worked with clients in the sports of football, tennis, hockey, baseball and NASCAR. From 1989 through 2002, Mr. Del Duca served as in-house legal counsel for international businessman Ion Tiriac and professional tennis player Boris Becker.
Mr. Del Duca also played college baseball at the University of Richmond from 1976 to 1980.
